The Boats

A little rowboat, sailboat and motorboat. What more do you need?

16′ Modified Adirondack Guideboat

I just finished building this boat in early 2026. It is roughly an Adirondack Guideboat, but strip built, with end decks, and a modified shearline.

21′ Lavro Sea Dory

This is a fairly rare and odd duck, that I am currently refurbishing, building a new cabin for, and repowering.

Caledonia Yawl

This boat is new to me. I have not even sailed it yet. I need to get the rig sorted a bit, and a few other details. It is a giant tub of a dinghy compared to my Skerry below. I will have it on the water in spring of 2026, and will share more then.

15′ Modified CLC Skerry Sailing/Rowing Dinghy – SOLD

I sold this boat at the end of 2025, replacing it with two boats, the rowboat and Caledonia yawl above. I had owned this excellent little dinghy for many years, and rebuilt it and the rig twice, ending with a capable little mini-cruiser that can be slept on at anchor, under a tent, with sealed end decks and an off-center daggerboard. Its original open form is one of the earliest kit boat designs by John Harris at Chesapeake Light Craft.
