Crooked Horizon Photography Gallery

From an early age the beauty of nature had a big impact on me, and nature photography is a long time hobby. Similarly, beautiful boats always draw my eye.

But photography from a small boat is challenging, and I am not very good at it. Forget tripods, they are worthless on these frisky creatures. And taking pictures while helming a sailboat is an exercise in frustration and often stupidity. Not to mention my disdain for a crooked horizon, which is the default picture from a moving boat. This boater is hard on photo equipment too. I have dropped more than one piece overboard, and had a quick incoming tide soak some expensive lenses in my camera bag on the shore. Improving my marine photo skills is one of the things I am most looking forward to with this Inside Waters project.
